The role

Who are we?
Terrequipe Pty Ltd is a supplier of equipment and parts to various industry sectors including construction, agriculture, mining, rail, road, energy, ports and other infrastructure projects. Terrequipe Pty Ltd represents leading brands, JCB, Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Dressta, for construction and agricultural equipment solutions.  

The role:
An exciting opportunity exists in our brand new Emerald branch to work on the latest equipment in a field and workshop setting. At Terrequipe you can develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further with a variety of bands and clients.

As the dealer for JCB, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Dressta and others, you will work with leading edge products within our industry. The successful applicant needs to be a self-starter, who is able to operate autonomously as well as within a great team.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain continuing good relationships with customers and potential customers within the Region
• To test drive, diagnose, maintain and repair all equipment in a professional and efficient way, either in the workshop or in the field as required
• Ensure excellent daily communication with the parts department to ensure an efficient and effective service to customers
• Tag all warranty parts with the correct information
• To keep the work environment clean and safe
• Ensure time cards are completed daily showing the correct job number

The role requires:

• Qualified as a Diesel Fitter or similar
• Experience working with modern construction and/or agricultural equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• A team player and prepared to take on extra duties and responsibilities as required
• Can analyze problems and seek assistance as required
• Ability to work to and meet deadlines
• Able to work flexible hours as required.

Displaying a high level of initiative and problem solving skills, you may have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information across different business units and levels of the company. Along with your technical know-how, you will be a competent computer user, preferably in MS Office.

As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.
